Who does not want to make their home look great and stylish? There are so many things one could do to achieve this. Amongst the options that one could easily adopt without too much dent on the finances is the right selection and positioning of the pendant lights.

A pendant Light, though a small an insignificant item, can actually enhance the appearance of a room when placed properly. Besides this, there are many advantages of selecting a good pendant light.

Designs â€" There are many designs to choose from. You could get them in form of a designer hanging light, or a table lamp, or just something that fits into your overall concept of a decoration item in a room or verandah.

Material â€" You could choose a pendant light that is made of wrought iron or stainless steel, wood, plastics or one with a simple rustic chain finish. You could also get some art forms designs as per your personal tastes if you are planning to give every room a personal touch.

A pendant light has a universal appeal and would certainly enhance the overall appearance of the décor in your house.  You could make a room appear friendly with the combination of soft and dim lights placed at the right places.

To make the most beautiful and effective light arrangements all you need is a creative bent of mind and a bit of forethought about which type of pendant light would be most suitable for your home.

I could totally be wrong but I believe it is jade, or meant to resemble jade. It may be part of Buddhism. Jade has certain meaning to certain people: "Today, too, this gem is regarded as a symbol of the good, the beautiful and the precious. It embodies the Confucian virtues of wisdom, justice, compassion, modesty and courage, yet it also symbolises the female-erotic."

玉 Jade, mandarin is yu, cantonese is yuk It's a symbol of protection and great virtue. Jade is believed to possess magical qualities and supernatural powers. It's said love can be invited by wearing a jade piece in the shape of a butterfly, which is a symbol of love. When love arrives, a jade piece is given to formalize the union. Hence traditional oval or rectangular gade rings are often worn by Chinese husbands.
